The Home Information Pack (HIP) became compulsory for all properties as from December 14th 2007 : Sellers will be required to produce a HIP before their property is marketed, which will include the new Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as well as other information relevant to the sale.
David Warren Jones can prepare a HIP for you (processed through Severn Trent) whether or not we are acting for you on the sale of your property : this service is free (HIP supplied at cost) where we are dealing with the legal work on the sale.
The pack will be prepared promptly and efficiently to enable you to market your property as soon as possible through your chosen estate agent or privately as the case may be.

The Severn Trent HIP (Birmingham City Council) can be competitively set up for £249. plus vat : £275. plus vat for most other local councils : for Birmingham City Council this figures includes an official (not personal) local authority search as standard.
